Mentors and check-offs
From Maslab 2006
We have several milestones that you will accomplish as you successfully complete the course. Of these, a staff member must check you off for completing each of the activities and checkpoints. Your presence will be noted at the Design Review, mock contests, and other events, and a staff member will read your team journal entry each day.
- Activity: OrcPad hello world
- Activity: Sensor edge or bump detection
- Checkpoint One: Identify a red ball and indicate on the BotClient
- Activity: Feature detection
- Checkpoint Two: Score a point
- Design Review
- Participation in Mock Contest One
- Participation in Mock Contest Two
- Participation in the final contest
- Daily wiki entries
- Final paper
- Lab cleanup

Again, if you have questions, you need not (and probably should not) wait to ask your mentor—we are all here to help.
