Selected in large part for his ability to move heavy things and his diplomatic nature, Matt Spencer plans to contribute to the team by refraining from dining upon any part of the robot, refraining from making crude comments regarding the mothers of any of the robots in the competition and making all journal updates consist solely of quotes from the recently acquired gem of his DVD collection: Godzilla v. Gigan. The success of these contributions, however, is highly suspect.
As a result, Matt's backup plans include using his knowledge of circuitry, solid state devices, electrochemistry and vague familiarity with the Java language (thanks, in large part, to 6.370) to benefit the team as is best fit.
