MASLAB – Team 8 Schedule

Wed January 9th before 5pm (meeting with Staff):
Have a schedule (either written or on the wiki) for IAP.
Have a mechanical design (drawn, CADed, hard copy).
Have a software architecture outline.
Have a general strategy for robot.

Thurs January 10th before 8pm:
Turn and drive towards a ball.

Fri January 11th before 8pm:
Be able to calibrate your camera quickly within 1 minute (ie for changing light conditions).
Demonstrate your camera calibration by driving towards a green ball.

Sat January 12th before 8pm:
Fabricate and assemble robot body,
Practice driving with PID controller implemented

Sun January 13th before 8pm:
Mount sensors and other parts to robot.
Practice sensing and driving toward ball
Implement IR sensors

Mon January 14th, during the Mock Competition:
Start on button press, stop after 3 min. (Can use pegbot)
Clean up after mock competition

Tues January 15th, before 8pm:
Design update for hardware
Code update for software

Wed January 15th, before 8pm:
Fabricate and assemble hardware
Code and test for software

Thurs January 17th before 4pm (meeting with Staff):
Fabricate and assemble hardware
