Elliot: Discovers how to use the journal. We (the team) started working on strategy and mechanisms before break. Our guiding principle is reliability and robustness in mechanical design that executes a simple strategy. We figure that we can stack 6-15 cubes on the center platform... if all goes well. We realized pretty quickly that since scoring is N^2, a single tall stack is favored versus many smaller stacks. Ie a single stack of 10 is worth 2 stacks of seven, and is probably much easier to execute. In order to maximize stack height, we want to be able to pick up stacks of any color without worrying about sorting or other color related shenanigans.
