Week 1 Progress
Software:
- ROS2 setup and basic motor control with W-A-S-D keys
- OpenCV setup to detect colors of game blocks
Mechanical:
- Onshape/CAD tutorials
Electrical:
- Kitbot electronics assembled and tested with input using ROS2
Week 2 Progress
Software:
- Able to accurately detect and differentiate the red and green colors of blocks from background objects
- Able to read encoder data
- Progress made towards IMU code
- Start thinking about mapping algorithm
Mechanical:

- Wired up additional motor drivers for updated design
- Wired up encoders for testing the IMU
Week 3 Progress
Software:
- Finished camera calibration workflow for homography
- Making progress on path algorithm
Mechanical:
- Car wash design finalized (here)

- Finished wiring for new 4-wheel drive bot
